Our Strategy

We are committed to helping answer our nation’s need for greater investment in the domestic energy production industry. Keep up with the latest Texas Energy news as we work to accomplish that mission.

The elements that contributed to our early success continue to guide us today.

Our growth is driven by a disciplined investment criterion that capitalizes on production potential while minimizing risk.

Wise Portfolio Management

Our Working Interest asset portfolio features fractional ownership in existing wells in proven-producing fields as well as controlling ownership in oil and gas plays with untapped reserves.  This balanced blend of assets in various phases of production life works to promote current and future performance potential.

Acquisition Approach

Unlike most other companies that rely on complex geology, our oil and gas portfolio is based on the data collected from many wells in each geographical location.  This model is the foundation of our ability to analyze the risk, cash flow and total expected recovery.

In addition, we maintain strategic relationships with large and medium-sized independent oil and gas companies.  We believe it is wise to work with organizations that have a large ownership stake in the properties they develop because they have a greater incentive to do well as their own money is at risk.

Increased Production

We focus on acquiring properties that offer immediate cash flow potential from existing wells. Then, we seek to enhance the value of these properties by applying proven, cost-conscious geological and mechanical rework and recompletion strategies.

Our developmental drilling projects are concentrated in fields that have documented histories of oil and gas production. The majority of our prospects directly offset known producing wells. These activities are designed to open up new areas of opportunity and counter natural production declines in existing properties.

Vertical Integration

There’s more to the energy business than just selling what can be produced. By challenging our thinking about how we can deliver value, we’ve made a positive impact on our overall bottom line.
